Dubai Elite Car Wrapping

Cost Guide

Car Wrap Cost in Dubai

Every quote is personalised. Here is what shapes the price, so you know what you're paying for.

Main quote factors

  • Vehicle size — a coupe needs far less film than an SUV
  • Coverage — full wrap, partial wrap or single panels
  • Film and finish — chrome and specialist films cost more
  • Complexity — deep curves, vents and aero parts take longer
  • Extras — door shuts, disassembly, paint correction before wrapping

Comparing quotes fairly

Material specifications, panel coverage and preparation affect the total. Compare the written scope rather than assuming every quote includes the same work.

Read the written proposal carefully

Check whether the proposed total describes material, application and any agreed removal or preparation work. Ask how a change in finish, panel coverage or artwork would affect the scope before requesting it. If inspection reveals an unsuitable surface, a revised approach may be needed; clarify that process rather than assuming the original estimate covers every possible condition. Keep a copy of the agreed panel list and product details. These practical checks make price comparisons more meaningful and help you distinguish a complete proposal for your own vehicle from a general example intended only to start a conversation.

Compare the scope before the total

Full exterior does not mean every hidden surface

A quote for exterior panels may exclude door returns, inner edges and other painted surfaces seen when panels are open. If the original colour contrasts strongly with the new wrap, that difference can matter. Ask for a panel list rather than assuming two full-wrap quotes cover identical areas. Roof rails, spoilers, mirror caps and aftermarket parts may need separate attention. The comparison should describe the same vehicle and intended result; otherwise a lower headline figure may simply refer to less coverage.

Partial wrapping has its own complexity

A roof accent uses less film than an entire body, but area alone does not determine labour. Narrow trim, deep recesses and parts requiring careful access can take substantial attention. Two similarly sized pieces may therefore have different costs. A sensible quote identifies each selected surface and the proposed finish. Group related accents together when discussing options so you understand the combined appearance, but do not assume that every small component can accept the same material.

Materials change both appearance and price

Standard colours and specialist finishes

Plain gloss, satin and matte films are not the same as chrome, complex colour-shift products or printed artwork. Specialist materials can differ in purchase cost, handling requirements and the amount of waste needed to align patterns. The film’s actual product name is therefore useful when comparing proposals. A cheaper material is not automatically unsuitable, and a more expensive finish is not automatically right for your car. Compare suitability, intended appearance and product instructions rather than using price as a substitute for a clear specification.

Custom graphics and production work

Printed wraps may involve artwork preparation, proofing, printing and lamination in addition to application. High-resolution logos, correct colour values and panel layouts help define that work. Revisions after an artwork approval can change the production scope. For commercial vehicles, check the relevant advertising requirements before committing to print. Ask whether design time and printed samples are included, and distinguish between a simple ready-made colour change and a genuinely bespoke graphic treatment.

Preparation can change the final scope

Old film, adhesive and paint condition

Removing an existing wrap is separate from applying new film. Age, exposure and adhesive condition affect the approach, and photographs cannot reveal every issue. Repainted panels or lifting clear coat may need assessment before a colour change can proceed. Wrapping over a problem does not repair it. Explain previous treatments honestly and ask which preparation steps are included, which depend on inspection and which would require a revised quote. This is more useful than comparing a clean factory-painted car with one needing substantial extra attention.

Vehicle shape and safe access

A large SUV generally needs more material than a compact car, but body shape also matters. Bumpers with vents, deep channels, complex spoilers and aftermarket body parts can require extra layout planning. Access around handles, badges and trim may influence the agreed method. Ask how seams and inlays will be handled on difficult areas. The aim is to understand the proposed result, not to insist that the fewest pieces or the most disassembly must always be better.

Budget for the right objective

Vinyl, PPF and ceramic are different purchases

A vinyl quote is primarily for changing appearance. Paint protection film is intended to absorb certain small impacts, while ceramic coating is a thin treatment supporting surface behaviour and cleaning. They should not be compared as if they are interchangeable levels of the same product. If your main concern is stone chips on the front end, discuss targeted PPF rather than assuming a decorative wrap offers equivalent protection. If your main aim is colour, a coating cannot provide that change. Define the goal first, then compare suitable coverage options.

Care and eventual removal

Consider how you will maintain the finish after application. Compatible washing products, careful cleaning and covered parking where available can influence ongoing ownership. Film will eventually need reassessment or removal, and that process depends on material and paint condition. A partial refresh can also produce colour differences beside older exposed pieces. These considerations do not establish a fixed future cost, but they help avoid judging the purchase only by the initial quote. Ask what care guidance applies to your chosen surface and keep the material details.

A practical quote checklist

Provide the vehicle make, model and year, its current colour, photographs of the main panels and a description of any repairs or existing film. Include the finish you prefer, whether you want full or selected coverage, and any important details such as door returns or matching trim. Ask for the material specification and a clear distinction between included work and inspection-dependent preparation. No price list is invented here: a relevant figure must come from a personalised proposal for your vehicle. Review the agreed scope before authorising work, and clarify any uncertain item rather than assuming it is included.
